Massage at Epic Spa Beauty and Hair – 7/10

This full body massage was in a room at the back of Epic Spa Beauty and Hair on Church Road. The lady offers a lot of other services in the room so it wasn’t the most tranquil I’ve ever been and was a bit on the cold side but that was fine. She also forgot to bring her music but again that didn’t bother me that much, it just meant I could hear the massage bed squeaking.

She had a lot of awards and qualifications on the wall and she did a very good job at finding the problem areas. As she was a larger woman she had a lot of strength to put pressure on my back and shoulder which is exactly what I needed. I also quite like she used her elbow down the middle of my back either side of my spine. She covered the whole body in the hour including face and feet. She didn’t speak great English so there wasn’t that much communication but she did give me some good advice about how to work at problem areas such as lying in a swimming pool on my back and try to push my shoulders back which other massage therapists have said the same.

All in all a decent massage if you like a lot of pressure and good value for money at £20 with a voucher for another one the same price if I go back again.
